Pench Tiger Reserve

Located 90 kms north of Nagpur, at the end of Satpura mountain range, Pench was listed as a tiger reserve in 1992. The setting for Rudyard Kipling's The Jungle Book, the park is home to approx 39 mammal species, 13 reptile species, 3 amphibian species and more than 200 bird species including migratory birds.

Pench is an emerging destination for Big Cats sighting and the recent census count of 80 tigers has already become outdated with a rapidly growing tiger population.

Nagpur city is just 90 kms away with good air, rail and road connectivity.

Safari Zones

Pench has safari zones on all sides. However, the zones on its eastern side are popular due to availability of tourism infrastructure.
