Panna Tiger Reserve

Explore Panna, Madhya Pradesh

Spread over 540 sq. kms in Chhatarpur and Panna districts of north MP, Panna National Park is a benchmark in conservation. Having lost all its tigers by 2009, the subsequent relocation & breeding efforts were successful & the park is home to 60+ tigers today.

Located at the end of Vindhya hill range after which, the gangetic plains begin, this dry deciduous forest has vast plateaus and gorges dotted by enchanting waterfalls. The river Ken, which flows through the park has a healthy population of ghariyal crocodile.
